Default Secondaries...

Well ive been looking for sum secondaries, mostly rit, necro, monk, assasin.

Right now im monk as secondary and i dont use any of its skills in pvp or pve at all so its kind of stupid, should i use stuff like balthazars spirit, live vig, vig spirit in pvp?

For rit the thing that interested me most was vwk for farming (but i never really tried farming before, nobody wants to show me how lol). Also splinter weapon, i had a rit put this on me in AB, it was so useful, i can cap really easily, it does awsome dmg...

I also got assasin as secondary and i found that the refuge skill is useful in arenas, it helps me recover quickly, also the other skill taht 75% to block under 50% hp, dunno if its good or not but it looks interesting.

For necro i have no idea but warriors are so common with it for life stealing, etc.

What do you guys recommend?

go monk for PvP dont use alot of monk skills (ESPICIALY HEALING BREAZE!! ITS TERRIBLE) just use warrior basics and a monk skill that complemnts your fight style like vigrous spirit if your IAS and attack alot or use Healing Hands if you like to dual assasins alot ect ect. get Rit so you can farm with VwK because it owns. As for farming its easy just kill stuff, if you need more direction this site has a specific farming area go check it out for some tips.

No. your better off with more points in tactics for that.

But mending touch can be good on a wammo for condition removal. Ive seen a lot of decent wammo builds with 6 warrior skills, mending touch, and res sig.

Monk - [skill]mending touch[/skill][skill]holy veil[/skill][skill]purge signet[/skill] and maybe hard res for PvE. Nothing else.

Assassin - [skill]dash[/skill][skill]disrupting dagger[/skill][skill]signet of malice[/skill][skill]death's charge[/skill]

Necro - [skill]plague touch[/skill]... and maybe Withering Aura.

Rit - [skill]death pact signet[/skill][skill]flesh of my flesh[/skill][skill]splinter weapon[/skill]... though it's better coming from a Rit.

Most everything else is a waste of space, attributes and energy.

Melandrus Resilience is better for farming.Go for rebirth or res chant when considering a hard res.

List of secondary profession skills that are pretty good right now for PvP:

[skill]Shock[/skill]
[skill]Rending Touch[/skill]
[skill]Mending Touch[/skill]
[skill]Purge Signet[/skill] --> Barely viable (hardly ever used)
[skill]Holy Veil[/skill] --> Barely viable (hardly ever used)
[skill]Death Pact Signet[/skill]
[skill]Plague Touch[/skill]
[skill]Remedy Signet[/skill]
[skill]Disrupting Dagger[/skill]

I have never used [skill=text]Signet of Malice[/skill] so...
Don't use [skill=text]Dash[/skill], use [skill=text]Rush[/skill] instead.
Don't use [skill=text]Splinter Weapon[/skill] on a Warrior skill bar in PvP, only on a Ritualist.
Don't use [skill=text]Death's Charge[/skill] because it is bad.

resiliance works well in places were you don't always have a healer you would be supprised sometimes at how well it works.

Deaths charge isn't that bad after the buff
if you dont preveil you will fail as a monk
purge sig is viable if you bring energy hiding set (I usualy carry is on my ranger)

Dash is viable if the last move in your chain drains all adren..and if you have the /A secondary already its a nice speed buff for chasing kiters

Sig of malace is for the few times you don't have a rez

Ok, this is just a list of a few secondary skills I use on my warrior, it is not a strcit list you have to stick like those some other emebers of this forum love to lay down.

Monk - I dont use monk that much, usually only when I have no reliable condition removal in my party or when farming.
[skill]Mending Touch[/skill]
[skill]Life Sheath[/skill] (phew, I can feel the heat of those flames from here)
[skill]Remove Hex[/skill]

Assasin - Mainly used in AB

[skill]Shadow Walk[/skill]
[skill]Dash[/skill]
[skill]Signet of Malice[/skill]
[skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill]
[skill]Siphon Speed[/skill]

Ritualist - Farming is all I use this for, mabye a little PvE for the weapon skills.

[skill]Vengeful Was Khanhei[/skill]
[skill]Vengeful Weapon[/skill]

Paragon - relaxed PvE usually

[skill]Enduring Harmony[/skill]

Necromancer - Not much used

I used to use it a lot but not much any more, there are so many skills you can just play around with here.

Mesmer - Not really used.

Dervish - PvE

Grab a scythe, put a few scythe attacks and [skill]Warrior's Endurance[/skill] and go for it

Ranger - PvE

**Poison Tip Signet**
[skill]Troll Unguent[/skill]
[skill]Antidote Signet[/skill]

Elementalist - Not much used.

[skill]Armor of Earth[/skill]
[skill]Conjure Flame[/skill]
[skill]Conjure Lightning[/skill]
[skill]Conjure Frost[/skill]

This is just a few of the ones I used, really you can play around with anything when playing PvE and then come up with your own combos.
Hope this helps.
